Our Story

Peak Aviation Academy was established and registered as a Declared Training Organization in 2020 by the founders of the training centre - Emil Avramov and Angel Abadjiev. The two are guided by one goal - to provide the highest quality and most modern training for private pilots. On 02.12.2020, the Civil Aviation Authority in Bulgaria accepted our training program, declaration and all other necessary documents for registration of the training centre. Our reference number is BG.DTO-005-45-17-40 / 15.10.2020. The training organisation is the fifth one registered in Bulgaria under the DTO framework. A few months after the establishment, Velislav Kostov joined us, and later Petar Bukureshtliev. Currently, our team is made of 4 people, instructors, who maintain this website, the online training system, answer every question of the students and lead the attendance classes in Sofia. Learn more about us below. Materials in the theoretical course for PPL (A) / LAPL(A) are based on those of international content providers. We develop our own resources as well, in-house, which are well adapted for the local laws and particularities of aviation in different countries in Europe.
